I’m always on the hunt for the perfect black skirt to wear to the office, and this one caught my eye because of the asymmetrical hemline. I love, love, love how it hangs a few inches lower in the back! For any of you ladies with a little extra junk in the trunk, I can’t recommend this skirt enough! The contrasting white waistband and lining also added a nice graphic touch and played quite nicely with my blouse.
Speaking of this blouse… I must have purchased it for under $20 at least 4 years ago, and it’s still going strong. I used to have another one just like it in navy blue and cream, and I could just kick myself for getting rid of it! Don’t you just hate it when you toss an item, only to realize you still want it later?

eBay is always a great source for this sort of thing. just make sure you check the seller’s feedback rating and history. You could also try your local consignment shop. If you’re in the NYC-area, I can give you the names of a my favorite thrift/vintage stores.
