When: Wednesday, February 15th, 2011
Where: The daily grind
What: Sweater (Rugby), jeans (Forever 21), boots (thrifted via Beacon’s Closet), hat (self-knit)
Soooo um, I originally intended for this hat to be a beret, but I guess I underestimated the size of my dome…
Also, I realized about half-way into the project that I have no idea how to even make a beret (I’m still a knitting newbie).
In any case, the pompom makes me really happy. Thinking about grad school and possibly studying for the GMAT… not so much.
hahaha this si funky 🙂

That last photo is so cute! I used to crochet but all I can do now is one looooong crocheted string. I should try getting back into it.
lol @ your crochet skillz! 🙂
I think this is the step you’re missing: http://cache.lionbrand.com/faq/112.html?www=1&language=
The hat is so dopey and cute :X I tried knitting once and bailed…I don’t think I have the patience for it but I’d love to see some more of your creations 😀
Also, I’m going to grad school either next year or the year after (depending on the twists and turns) and I’m so excited!…But then again, I’m abnormally nerdy…

Aw, you should give it another go. I made this hat using a loom, and it was super easy. Good luck with grad school!
Oh my gosh how adorable is that sweater! I love it!!
You are too cute, Kendra! Love that you wear such fun things to work! Makes the daily grind feel a lot less grating, I imagine.
I’m totally loving that sweater!! So fun! And great job with the hat. I’ve been trying to knit an afghan for a few years now… and by that I mean I started, got frustrated and haven’t picked it back up in a few years! Haha Keep up the good work! 😉

I love that sweater! I just saw this color combination on The Sartorialist and was thinking about pulling out some blue and gold. You totally beat me to it though!
I love that sweater! It’s a really good color on you 🙂

I love everything! The sweater, the hat, the boots! You are casual but you are still so well put together! Loves it!!
btw, not that it matters, but I miss your natural backgrounds:)
Thanks! I miss the natural backgrounds too, but it’s FREEZING outside. I usually take my own photos during my lunch break, but I’ve been super busy at work lately. I’ll be back outside once the weather warms up and the days get longer.
