Hey Gang!
I’ve got good news and bad news…
The good news is that I made it 1/10 of the way through the 30 for 30 challenge.
The bad news is that I’m officially calling it quits. I’m getting bored with these clothes, and I want to wear something new. Besides, there are just too many holiday parties (and holiday sales) coming up, and I feel deprived.
JUST KIDDING!
What? You didn’t think I was a quitter did you? A loser, maybe (especially at sports or other activities that require hand-eye coordination), but never a quitter.
Hey, I was the kid who squeaked by with a passing grade in her elementary school gym class simply by dangling at the end of the rope and hanging on for dear life because she knew there was no chance in heck that she’d be able to pull herself all the way to the top.
What can I say, I have the tenacity of a bulldog and the upper body strength of a… Well, I can’t think of any animals with weak upper body strength, but you get the picture.
So yes. I’m am forging on with the challenge and will emerge victorious!

Bwaa ha ha ha ha!!! I totally believed you. I was thinking, “Wow, this is a first.” It’s one thing to quit. It’s another to openly admit it… good stuff lady. You’re funny and a challenge victor.
Lol, yes I would totally admit it to you guys if I did decide to quit. But nope, I’m in it to win it.
you had me! gah! 🙂
Gotcha! 😉
So chic!! Love the brown belt with all the black 🙂
You had me nervous for a moment there…
Love this look and nice way to break up the all black with the belt and earrings.
You big teaser! I was thinking, “Why would she be bored with these clothes? They’re friggin’ awesome.” This is one sleek rainy day outfit. Keep on truckin’ Kendra!
Thanks, although I have to admit that I felt a little “shiny” walking around town in this outfit all day.
I have to say, my internet was taking a long time to load, so the punchline didn’t show up right away. I had no choice but to believe you!
I’m a big supporter of black with brown. Well done.
The Auspicious Life
Ahh, sorry to keep you in suspense for so long!
I’m so jealous of your skills combining black and brown! You look impossibly chic. Plus, I almost believed you when you said you were quitting and it made me so sad. Good thing you’re not!
PS- I want a sequinned beret. When can we shop again?!
Awww… didn’t mean to make you sad, lol. Just a few more weeks to go before you can get your hands on your own sequin beret!
Ahaha, I totally believed you there. Good on you for still going strong, and you look very chic in this outfit!
i really like how the black really makes the looped belt stand out!
Thanks! I think this is my new favorite belt.
I love the brown and black combo. I’m trying to pull off a similar knotted belt look with an old belt tomorrow. We’ll see how that works out. And glad to hear you’re not really quitting…when I read that I was like, “Nooooooo!” Haha. 🙂
YOU ARE SUCH A TEASE. I was so crestfallen that you were quitting, now I am elated that you’re not. Emotional rollercoaster!!
P.S. Super chic outfit, plus you have incredible belt-tying skillz!!
Thanks! I have to confess, the belt came pre-tied like that. Isn’t it cool?
Loooove the belt!
