I’m making up for yesterday’s fiasco with an abundance of outfit photos for your viewing pleasure!
I bought these funky little half-tinted glasses a while ago but never really had the guts to wear them. I figured my coat was bright enough to distract folks from paying attention to my glasses. Actually, now that I just typed that sentence up I’m not sure if that logic really holds: wearing something mildly distracting to draw attention away from something that’s really distracting. Hmmm… perhaps I should have thought that through a little bit more.
Oh well.
In other news, my company recently relaxed it’s dress code. That means I can wear jeans anytime I want, as long as I’m not meeting with clients. Yippee!
I decided to take advantage of the situation by test-driving a pair of high-waist bell bottoms that will supposedly be all the rage next season.
I used to live in flare legs and boot-cut jeans back in high school and college, so this was a nice change of pace from the skinny jeans everyone’s been rocking for the last couple of years.
What about you ladies? What style of jeans do you prefer?

i love this look on you! i love the red jacket and especially those high-waisted flare jeans! i’ll have to check out F21 now to see if they have any in my size. 🙂
cute and little

I love everything about this outfit – the red coat, the pointy toed shoes, the LEOPARD BLOUSE. In love. You look fantastic.
I love all of this. The red, the leopard, the flares, everything. It’s g0ing in my inspiration folder.
What a great outfit. Love the red coat and shoes with those great jeans.
I’m with you on jeans: I’m more for boot cut jeans and love being able to wear jeans as if they were slacks. You do it so beautifully here, love how you styled them.
Thanks. The shoes were a fun last minute edition. They were the only ones tall enough to keep my jeans off the ground, lol.
Cute pose in the first pic. Look so sweet and demure like Little Red Riding Hood. Then **POW** rockin’ the leopard-print blouse with flared jeans and red stilettos. The big bad wolf better not mess with you 😀
I prefer flared jeans because I really don’t have a choice. Skinny jeans are not skinny on me. They’re just jeans.

Yes, the big bad wolf should be afraid… very afraid, lol!
I love a trouser jeans – they are so versatile! The blouse is gorgeous – looks great with the red accents.
Thanks! I knew I couldn’t pass it up when I saw it in the store.
Boot cut, most definitely! My body isn’t flattered by skinny jeans, so I don’t care if that ‘s the current trend. I need something that balances out my hips, butt and thighs! You look adorable in this outfit. Wish my office would relax their dress code too. Lucky!
Thanks so much! 🙂
Thank you.
Aww you look cute 🙂
As for jeans I like straight leg but not skinny jeans. Well, I would love skinny jeans if I didn’t have a tummy but I’m working on that!
I also like boot cut.
I love leopard print and red together. So fun.
I’m digging the matchy matchy of your shoes and the jacket.
I’ve always been a sucker for wide-legs and bellbottoms. It really depends on the weather. During the winter I wear mostly skinny jeans, especially if there is snow on the ground. The spring is when I break out the flares.
That is such a nice read coat! The color really pops! I think I still prefer straight leg/skinny pants. I like the look of flares trouser jeans (seeing them everywhere in stores) but they always overwhelm me. I think sometimes they’re not as good styles on petites.
Love, love, love the red coat. Red is my favorite color and so I totally love the coat and the shoes. The jeans are great. Where I work people wear Mom jeans, tee shirts/sweatshirts and tennis shoes to work. Yuck! There are only a couple of us who enjoy getting dressed.
I love the red coat and shoes together and you wear it well! I like the skinny look but I could never make them work for my body. Any jean style that makes me look and feel good is the pair I prefer.
i’m definitely for the flares. love your leopard shirt here. it’s fabulous with the red coat.

I don’t know how you manage to pull so many amazing statement pieces together and make them work, but you DO and I LOVE it. The coat is perfect. And I love my skinnies but I can get into a little wide-leg, too!
I absolutely LOVE this look! The red, the flare, the leopard! So chic… I want to copy this look but I don’t own ONE red thing… gah!
Lol! You should definitely get some red patent pumps. It’s my personal belief that every woman should have a pair. 🙂
You are soooo pretty. Love your style.
Thanks so much! 🙂
I love the punch of colour the red heels provide 🙂
LOVE your shoes! And you are rocking the blouse, too.
Ok, I love that bell bottoms are back in . And your little red riding hood is awesome. Even if it does remind me of the uber creepy new horror movie coming out. I have zero scare tolerance for turning classic childhood fairy tales into horror movies.
I agree, those movies are kinda creepy…
Thanks so much.
I love your entire outfit!
From the red cheetah print blouse to the red pumps!
Very well put together! 🙂
