When: Wednesday, October 13th, 2010
Where: Work
What: Turtleneck (Uniqlo), skirt ($40 Banana Republic), shoes ($13 Irregular Choice via Daffy’s), belt ($20 Oscar de la Renta via Century 21)
It’s Day 2 of my leopard-themed week, and I have to say that this belt gave me a little more trouble than I thought it would. It’s funny, because I assumed it would be the easiest item to style. Just throw it on with a black dress and go, right?
Wrong!
Of course when I woke up yesterday morning, I just didn’t feel like wearing all black. I mean, that would just be too simple for a day when I needed to be out of the house by 6:30am. So instead, I opted for a bright blue pencil skirt.
And to tie it all together, I just had to make sure there were cute unicorns and flowers on the bottoms of my shoes.
Slightly tamer than my other Irregular Choice heels, but still awesome!

Love this outfit and really love the bottoms of your shoes. This is new to me Irregular Choice… Looks like you have caught my interest and I will be on it all day today dreaming up the possibilities. LOL

Thanks! I discovered their store a few years back and fell in love. I was super-excited to see them on the clearance rack at Daffy’s!
Love that blue pencil skirt with the leopard belt, good choice.

This entire look is a win! I love the whole outfit. That skirt is just adorable! I think you’ve also got me inspired with your turtleneck ( of all things) This is perfect weather to be bare leg-ed as long as you keep warm up top. A turtleneck is the perfect option!
Thanks! Turtlenecks are a must for me, and this one is from Uniqlo’s HeatTech line that’s made from a special fabric designed to create and retain warmth. I went a little crazy and stocked up last year, so you’ll be seeing more lol.
Even though people don’t see the little things like the lining of a dress or the bottom of a shoe, I love whenthat special touch is added. I would buy those shoes JUST for the sole. Love the whole outfit!
Thanks! It’s all about the details.
