When: Wednesday, November 10th, 2010
Where: Work + Dinner @ Hill Country Chicken
What: Jacket ($30 Old Navy), scarf ($10 Old Navy), turtleneck ($20 French Connection via Filene’s Basement), skirt (Club Monaco), boots (Michael Kors via Loehmann’s), earrings (Privileged via HauteLook), necklace (Pippin Vintage Jewelry), bracelets (Lyric Culture via HauteLook)
We’ve been having picture perfect weather in NYC for the past two days, so I decided to take advantage of it by wearing a classic fall outfit.
Turtleneck? Check!
Pleated skirt? Check!
Mixed plaids? Check!
Pea coat? Check!
Warm scarf? Check!
Yep, it looks like we’ve got all the bases pretty much covered in this outfit.
Add a pair of cool shades and some funky gold jewelry, and I’m all set and ready to go!
On another note, I’m starting to wonder how long I’ll be able to keep up these numerical post titles…

Love the skirt! So classic.
What did you think of Hill Country Chicken? I went just last week…I don’t think it holds a candle to its BBQ counterpart, but it’s still pretty good.
It was ok, nothing to write home about. I agree that the BBQ place is better. Also, they ran out of pecan pie! What’s up with that?!
Cool boots! http://idontwearjeans.blogspot.com/
It is getting mighty freezing out there and I used to hate trudging the streets of NYC in the cold! You look so comfy cozy!

Love the funky jewelery Kendra and the coat is fierce ; )

Hey Kendra, thanks so much for checking out my blog!! So great to meet you 🙂
Totally loving the mixed plaids. Am I way out of the loop b/c I never would’ve thought of it. But I love it!
It was my pleasure. Your pics are amazing! I can’t claim all the credit for mixing plaids because I heard someone else mention it first and thought I’d give it a go!
I love the jewelry so much! It’s really fun. I really love this outfit. I think camel and navy are just perfect together and the plaids are really fun. Your 30 for 30 is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
