Closet Confection: Battening Down the Hatches

Snapped a few quick pics yesterday while heading out for last minute emergency supplies in preparation for Hurricane Sandy.  I was slightly tickled to see what my fellow New Yorkers deemed “emergency” items.  As I filled my cart with candles, batteries, canned soup, and gallon-sized water jugs, other folks were stocking up on Evian, red wine, loaves of french bread, and cigarettes… no joke.  Ah well, I guess if you have to be cooped up inside, you might as well enjoy it!
