Closet Confection: Mama’s Got a Brand New Bag

After months of searching high and low for a tan leather handbag, I finally scored this beauty during my lunch break earlier this week. With my 20% off coupon, I was able to scoop her up for under $100! I’m notorious for losing things inside my purse (which can be a real pain when I’m running for the subway and can’t find my metro card), so I’m more than pleased with the roomy hidden pockets on the outside of this bag. It just goes go to show that good things do come to those who wait.

Head of the Class {What I Wore in Boston}

For me, visiting college campuses is always a bittersweet experience. And our little excursion to Harvard this past weekend was no exception. While it’s nice to be reminded of all the fun I used to have in college (tons of freedom with very little responsibility other than going to class), it’s also a wake up call that I’m no longer the fresh-eyed coed I used to be. Oh well, I like to still think I could at least pass as a grad student!

Boston: Memorial Day Getaway

Hello, my friends!

I just got back from a long, relaxing Memorial Day weekend in Boston, and I feel absolutely recharged and ready for the week ahead. This particular excursion was a little last-minute, but we had a great time sleeping in late, eating icecream at J.P. Licks, wandering around campus (Harvard and MIT), visiting Spectacle Island, and doing a little shopping (check out my new Coach sandals that I got on clearance!).
