For my 4th assignment in the Jane By Design Style Challenge, I was tasked with turning an ugly holiday sweater into something fabulous. Keep reading for step-by-step instructions on how the whole process went down…

I wore this outfit during an unseasonably warm day. But sadly, I don’t think my bare legs will be seeing the light of day again until spring… unless I move to Florida.
Black and white is my typical fallback when I’m in a rush and feel like I have nothing to wear, but I was in a mood for something more neutral this time around. I picked up this skirt at Forever 21 a while back, and I decided to pair it with a crisp white blouse to emulate the look and feel of a 1950s shirtwaist dress. Now all I need are bobby socks and a pair of saddle shoes… oh and a crinoline slip!

For assignment #3 of the Jane By Design Style Challenge, I was tasked with going through my closet and picking out the one purse that best represents my personality. Since I’m a woman of many moods (just ask my husband, ha!), I had a little bit of trouble picking just one. But when it came down to it, I was mostly drawn to my prized pink satin clutch. It’s fun, feminine, classy, and has a touch of sass – which are all qualities that represent my personality to a T.
And what about you guys? I’d love to hear what handbag you think best represents your purse-a-nality? Drop me a line in the comments and/or share your thoughts with the Jane By Design team here (if you are so inclined and would like to help me win this challenge).
