It just goes to show that wearing a head-to-toe monochromatic look doesn’t have to be boring…

I spotted this blazer in Zara a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t get it out of my head.  I finally bit the bullet and scooped it up the other day, and I’m really glad that I did.  The contrasting prints inject a little bit of funk, and it matches perfectly with my new kicks (which you can pick up at Daffy’s for just $50, by the way!).

Here she comes again with the pink pants…

I just can’t help myself.  If I could drape myself in pretty pastels all spring long, I most certainly would.  Towards the end of last year, I desperately wanted a pair of powder pink jeans.  And search high and low as I may, I couldn’t find a single stitch in stores.  So I finally scooped this cropped version on eBay right before Christmas.  Well, I guess I must have been ahead of the game.  Because these days, it seems like you can’t throw a rock without hitting a pair of ice cream colored dungarees!

In other news, my fascination with asymmetrical hemlines continues, this time in the form of a relaxed, mint-colored tee.  I originally purchased it as a bathing suit coverup for my recent stint in Costa Rica.  Turns out it works just as well on the beach as it does on the mean city streets.
