13. I had a phenomenal time hanging out with some fashionable bloganistas.
14. Next, I got all sassy in one of my coziest, sexiest wrap dresses.
15. Then I decided to give ’em the cold shoulder in my thrifted Rugby tunic sweater.
16. I was pretty in pink in a flirty chiffon dress and billowy wrap sweater.
17. Flexing my craft skills by knitting a new hat was so much fun, even if it didn’t turn out the way I expected.
18. Lastly, I channeled my inner catwoman in a flouncy leopard print skirt.
When: Thursday, February 16th, 2011
Where: J-O-B
What: Turtleneck (HeatTech by Uniqlo), skirt (Zara), tights (???), shoes (Vince Camuto)
Not to be a wuss, but it’s really. freakin’. cold. outside!
And as you can see, I’ve taken a shine to doing my photos indoors as of late. Taking the actual photos using my tripod and remote is a snap, but the editing process takes considerably more time. However, if I have to choose between an extra 30 minutes of editing or frozen fingers and toes, my extremities are going to win every time!
There is just one pesky (but admittedly adorable) little problem that I have to deal with…
I tend to smile in all my photos anyway, but it was really hard to keep a straight face with this guy mocking watching me in the background.
When: Wednesday, February 15th, 2011
Where: The daily grind
What: Sweater (Rugby), jeans (Forever 21), boots (thrifted via Beacon’s Closet), hat (self-knit)
Soooo um, I originally intended for this hat to be a beret, but I guess I underestimated the size of my dome…
Also, I realized about half-way into the project that I have no idea how to even make a beret (I’m still a knitting newbie).
In any case, the pompom makes me really happy. Thinking about grad school and possibly studying for the GMAT… not so much.
