Over Christmas break, the family and I packed our bags and headed down to the DMV to unwind and celebrate the holidays. During our time in DC, we stopped for brunch at The Greenhouse inside of the beautiful, historic Jefferson Hotel. We had the place almost to ourselves and were waited on hand and foot during our meal. And of course, I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics before leaving.
Red is my favorite color – but shockingly, I own very few solid red dresses. As soon as I saw this dress at H&M, I knew I had to have it. I love the easy, comfortable silhouette and how it can be dressed up or down with the right shoes and accessories. Here I paired it with ankle boots and a red beret for a festive figure-skater look. But it also works just as well for running errands around town with a jean jacket and tennis shoes. I have a feeling I’ll be getting a lot of mileage out of this one, especially in the spring.
