Dressing my postpartum body has been a lot of trial and error over these past few weeks – especially since I can’t zip around the city and spend hours in and out of fitting rooms like I used to. To compensate, I’ve been doing a LOT of online shopping (and returning!) to try and figure out what works for my new physique. This dress I recently picked up at ASOS was a pleasant surprise. I added it to my cart on whim and was so pleased with how it turned out. So much so, that I immediately popped the tags, threw on some sandals and a straw hat and went for a stroll around the neighborhood.
About the Fit:
This dress fits true-to-size and hits right at the ankle on my 5’7″ frame. The bodice ties up in the cutest little bow in the back, and I love that it’s wide enough to cover up my bra. You can also easily adjust how tight or loose you want the bow, which means it works for a variety of cup sizes – a MUST for a nursing mama like me!
