Hey Peeps!

As my due date quickly approaches (where did the time go?!), I wanted to take a quick peek back at some of the styles that got me through the tail end of my second trimester and beginning of my third trimester. If you follow me on the ‘gram, you know that my bump has gotten rounder (and larger) over just the past few weeks since these photos were taken.

As you can see, I’ve been getting by without many maternity pieces (except for these AMAZING leggings from Old Navy), and heels are also now reserved for only the most special of occasions.

The Non-Maternity Maternity Dress I’m LIVING in Lately…

To be honest, shopping for maternity clothes hasn’t been as fun as I thought it would be. Most items are ridiculously overpriced – especially considering the quality, or lack thereof. I’ve also struggled to find items that still fit in with my personal style. Luckily, Old Navy has come through for me with the dress you see above. It’s non-maternity, so I just went up a size or two to accomodate my growing belly. It comes in both a long sleeve and sleeveless version and a plethora of colors and prints. I’m pretty sure I’m up to at least 5 or 6 different iterations at this point.

About the Fit:
This dress is non-maternity, so I got a few one size up in second trimester and a few two sizes up that I’m just now starting to fill out now that I’m 30 weeks along.  I’d say the fit is true-to-size, if not a little large for you ladies who aren’t currently knocked up. The length hits just a couple of inches above the knee on my 5’7 frame.

Crazy for Stripes

I’m all smiles in these photos, but in reality, I’m slightly freaking out because I’m finally in my third trimester. I can’t believe how quickly the time is flying by. I’ve been busy working, napping, and getting prepared for the baby – but mostly napping, lol! Who knew growing a tiny human could be so exhausting?! In any case, my client projects are finally starting to wind down in preparation for maternity leave. So I hope to put up more blog posts soon.

In the meantime, be sure to check out my instastories for daily outfit updates and other happenings.
