What I Wore Last Week

Like many of us, I’m working remotely and sticking pretty close to home these days. That being said, sweats have never really been my thing, so I do try and make a diligent effort to get dressed and go outside each day. It helps brighten my day and makes me feel more productive. Below is a brief recap of each outfit. Enjoy!

Denim Overalls

{SHEIN Overalls, ZARA Turtleneck, BANANA REPUBLIC Oxfords}

On Monday, I decided to keep it simple and casual with my favorite denim overalls, a striped turtleneck and a comfy pair of snake print oxfords. I rarely wear jeans these days, but I will forever hold a soft spot for overalls. I adore the way these hug my curves while being super stretchy and comfortable.

New Balanxe x Staud Sweatshirt Dress

{NEW BALANCE x STAUD Dress, COACH Crossbody, NEW BALANCE Trainers}

I had a rough night before and was running on about 3 hours of sleep, so I just wanted something cozy to slip on for running errands and taking my son to the park. This sweatshirt dress was just the ticket. It’s so soft and basically feels like you’re wearing a nightgown. I don’t do traditional sweats, but this is the 3rd of 4th dress made out of sweatshirt material that I’ve added to my wardroble. Hope that doesn’t make me a hypocrite, lol!

{FOREVER 21 Sweater, UNIQLO Trench Coat, TOMMY HILFIGER Ponte Pants, EASTLAND Saddle Shoes}

On Wednesday, I decided to employ one of my favorite style hacks: wearing head-to-toe black and white. Sometimes I throw in red accessories if I’m feeling fancy. As you can see, I was not feeling fancy. Actually, I take that back. I always feel fancy when I don my saddle shoes. They’re so classic, and they might just be the most comfortable shoes I own – including sneakers!

{H&M Shacket, UNIQLO Cashmere Turtleneck, MIMARU Newsboy Cap, MADEWELL Jeans, COACH Crossbody Bag, DR. MARTENS Combat Boots}

So this may have been my favorite outfit of the week. If you follow me on YouTube, then you’ve already seen this beauty of a coat shacket (shirt + jacket). I generally shy away from majorly trendy items, but I could not resist this piece when I first laid eyes on it. It’s so chic and absolutely perfect for fall. It also comes in blue plaid and black & white tweed, and I’m finding it hard to resist purchasing another one.

H&M Studio Sweatshirt Dress

{H&M STUDIO Dress, ROBERT CLERGERIE OTK Boots, STAUD ‘Edie’ Bag}

Ok, I lied – THIS is my favorite outfit of the week. The sweatshirt dress made another appearance. But this time I made it a little bit saucy with a pair of over-the-knee boots. This outfit made for the perfect casual date night look.
