Closet Confection {Walking In} A Winter Wonderland

I took these photos less than a week ago, and believe it or now, it’s currently 70 degrees as I sit here typing up this post.  The weather has been rather unpredictable lately.  But I’ll take warm temps in December over piles of snow any day.  My snow boots and mittens are still close at hand, and chances are I’ll need them again soon.

Snow in the city is usually a mixed bag: a soft, white, winter wonderland one day and a slushy grey mess the next.  Luckily the streets and sidewalks were pretty much clear the day after our first snowfall of the season.  So I bundled up in a cozy dress made of the softest sweatshirt material, fleece-lined tights, mittens, and my new suede boots (which I weather-proofed first, of course).
