Target came through for ya girl once again in the dress department. In case you didn’t know already, I’m really into this Who What Wear collection (as evidenced here). Today’s dress is yet another beauty that I scooped up during their buy one, get one half off sale a few weeks ago. I’m really digging the bold print and the slight fishtail hem that gives an unexpected touch of drama to this already fabulous frock.

About the Fit:
This dress fits true-to-size without much give or stretch. I’d say it could use a belt for some additional pizzazz, but I wore it as-is for a casual stroll through the park with the family. The material is a substantial cotton that held up extremely well (even with baby spit up)!

If there’s one print that just screams summer, it’s gingham. As soon as I spotted this dress at Old Navy, I knew I had to have it. It’s so effortless and classic that I just couldn’t resist. I threw it on over the weekend with red accessories for a stroll through the park with the family and felt perfectly cool and put together.

About the Fit:
This maxi dress fits true-to-size and hits just above the ankle on my 5’7″ frame. I tend to like my maxi dresses to almost sweep the floor for a more dramatic look and considered going with a tall. Unfortunately, it was sold out in my size. In any case, this length makes it a cinch to wear with flats, so I’m not too upset. I love that it has adjustable straps and a smocked elastic backing which means a more custom fit and plenty of stretch to accommodate a large bust.

There was a time when I used to regularly shop for clothing at Target. But over the past few years I’d let them slip off my radar. That all changed recently when I needed to quickly replenish my wardrobe on the cheap to accomodate my postpartum curves, and I’m so glad Tar-Jay is back in my rotation!

This dress (along with the half a dozen others I purchased around the same time) is officially my jam! I paired it with slides and my signature straw hat and dark shades for a casual brunch in the neighborhood and felt so oh-so-chic. I also plan on bringing this little number along with me during my upcoming summer travels.

About the Fit:
This dress fits true-to-size and is made from a lightweight cotton blend with the tiniest hint of stretch. The dress is unlined, and I’m wearing Spanx underneath for a bit of added coverage and to help contain my mom pooch. Unlike most off-the-shoulder dresses I’ve worn, this one stays in place perfectly without me having to constantly adjust it – a HUGE win in my book!
