The mercury in NYC has finally begun to rise, and the humidity has cranked up right along with it. A simple white tee and breezy skirt seemed like the perfect counterpoint to a muggy morning and sticky subway ride into the office.

Not gonna lie… I spent roughly three-quarters of my weekend sprawled out on the couch watching reruns of Lost. But I did manage to roll myself off the couch long enough to see the new Superman movie and meander about near Lincoln Center.

After a long week filled with business travel, conferences, and finishing up a few major projects at work I’m mentally and physically exhausted and soooooooo ready for the weekend! Today, I’m keeping things pretty laid back with jeans and a flowy top. And I promise you guys I’m telling the truth when I say that the heels I’m wearing are actually comfy… like legitimately walkable… like I was able to outrun two grown men in the rain comfy… like I wore them on a cobblestone street and didn’t trip once… like I’m running out of examples, but you should just really trust me when I say these shoes ROCK!
