{Banana Republic Dress (LOVE this lacy version with a similar silhouette) , Forever 21 Brooch, Michael Kors Watch, Alex & Ani Bangles, Catbird Ring, Chloe Handbag, Zara Sandals}
I’ve had this dress for years, and I swear I love it more and more each season that I pull it out. I usually try and dress it up a bit, but this time around I opted for simple flat sandals (ok, ok, they’re totally blingy) and a few gold accessories – a perfect look for a laidback afternoon when I still wanna feel pretty. Also, it’s kinda hard to make out in the picture, but I’m in love with my little kitty brooch. It was part of a fun set of adorable critters that I picked up from Forever 21 last week. Since then, I’ve been having fun adding little creatures to all of my outfits… in fact, I’m wearing an owl on my blazer as I type up this post!
{Gap Dress, H&M Blazer (similar here and here), Louis Vuitton Handbag, Hand-Me-Down Belt, Handmade Espadrilles from Casa Hernanz in Madrid, Michael Kors Watch, Jewelry via Hermes and Forever 21}
I usually stay away from t-shirt dresses because they tend to be flimsy and highlight every flaw, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one from the Gap. It’s light enough to keep me cool in the sweltering heat (it was 90 degrees and humid when I took these photos), but still substantial enough not to show off my goodies in an unfortunate way. I’m seriously thinking about stocking up different colors as these will be fantastic for weekend getaways this summer.
