Today may be the first official day of autumn, but it was a scorching 88 degrees in my neck of the woods. While the mercury is still on the rise, I feel completely justified in my choice to wear seersucker. If the weather keeps up, don’t be surprised if you see me prancing around in a white linen dress and espadrilles too. Because let’s face it, fashion rules were made to be broken!

I thought my days of wearing tie-dye were left far behind, so color me surprised when I recently found myself drawn to this maxi dress. And since ya girl has never been one for restraint I immediately went down the internet rabbit hole in search for even more tie-dye finds to add to my budding collection.
The key for me in avoiding looking too childish in tie-dye is finding a print with a simple color palette – preferably no more than two or three colors. The exception would be smaller items and accessories like this ah-mazing tye-die scarf and a-dor-a-ble headband that are sitting in my shopping cart as we speak. Keep scrolling below for a roundup of my favorite tie-dye pieces that I’m currently lusting after.

I never thought yellow would become one of my favorite go-to colors, but I find myself drawn to it recently. I can’t help but feel happy and put an extra little pep in my step whenever I’m wearing such a cheery hue. With fall on the horizon, I’ve been stalking the clearance at all my favorite retailers and scooping up tons of crazy deals on end-of-summer merchandise. This dress and these shoes were my most recent finds, and I’m getting as much wear as I can out of them before they get put in storage.
