On our last evening in Detroit, my husband and I snuck away from our family for a spell to take in a romantic dinner at Coach Insignia which sits atop the GM Renaissance Center. We got gussied up and snapped a few photos along the waterfront before being whisked up 72 stories in a glass elevator to our dining destination. And as proof-positive that you can take the girl outta Detroit, but you can’t take the Detroit outta the girl, I substituted my usual pre-dinner glass of Prosecco for a bottle of Detroit’s finest: Faygo Rock & Rye!
