Charming Charlie Off-the-Shoulder Dress

I first discovered Charming Charlie two years ago while strolling up Fifth Avenue. I was immediately entranced by the store’s layout, which was arranged in carefully curated color-coded sections (say that three times fast). Flash forward to a few of weeks ago when the brand asked me to collaborate – I of course responded with a resounding YES!

I was most familiar with the brand’s colorful accessories, but I spotted this gorgeous paisley off-the-shoulder frock online and couldn’t resist. It has an easy, relaxed fit and is the perfect no-brainer outfit for lazy days when you want to look good but prefer not to fuss over an outfit. The little tassels on top are not only cute, but they coordinate perfectly my favorite earrings of all time (seriously, I have them in 3 colors and am contemplating another pair… or two… or three!).

I know off-the-shoulder tops and dresses have been all the rage for the past two summers, but to me this outfit still feels timeless. And that’s one of the things I strive for in my personal style – to create looks that are beautiful and stand the test of time (without breaking the bank). The Statement Top

If I had to sum up my style, I’d say that I gravitate towards classic, feminine looks with a fun twist. That being said, I am ALL OVER the current wave of statement tops that’s hit all of my favorite stores this season. There are so many to choose from, and they elevate even the most basic ensemble without much effort.
