Crushing hard on this flirty look I recently wore on vacation. This tie-front dress is a new style for me, and I’m kinda loving it. I wasn’t so sure how this was going to work out when I first saw it online, (because… boobs, lol), but my bikini bandeau top (one I scooped up last year at Old Navy) wound up saving the day.

I always enjoy taking a few fashion risks while I’m on vacation, especially when I’m in a relaxed, no-stress environment. And I’m so glad that this one worked out.

I’m definitely well-versed in the virtues of investment shopping and blah, blah, blah, but when it comes to rounding out my summer travel wardrobe – there’s nothing like a binge retail therapy session at Old Navy. I popped in once or twice a few weeks ago and walked away with a boatload of dresses for under $150. I became particularly enamored with this cold-shoulder dress (I also have it in chambray), and have been wearing it every few days nonstop.

The temps were soaring down in Destin, Florida, so I keep my accessories nice and easy with these adorable, yet super-comfy slides from Zara. And let’s not forget every bloggers current favorite summer bag. I tried to hold out as long as I could after seeing it crop up all over my Instagram feed last year, but I just couldn’t stop daydreaming about it and finally decided to give in. So far I have no regrets and have gotten so many compliments on it during my travels. SCORE!

What can I say… another day, another gingham dress. Can’t stop, won’t stop!

But seriously, this breezy little number from Zara is perfect for the sweltering temps we’ve been having as of late. I’m kicking myself for not getting the blue one as well. Speaking of Zara… have you guys had a chance to check out their sale yet? There are some seriously good deals going on that you’d be crazy not to jump on. Pickings are a slimmer online, but you can still find some pretty good bargains if you’re able to pop into a store.
