True-story: I haven’t owned a pair of sweats since college. So when I feel the need to be cozy and casual, my go-to uniform looks something like this. This sweater is easily the comfiest thing in my closet right now, and I wore this exact outfit on a flight recently. The security agent even stopped me to ask where I got it (she at least waited until after my pat-down). I paired it with these super-soft leggings (that I also own in black) for the ultimate in comfort. Not gonna lie… I’ve probably worn this outfit once or twice a week for the past month and a half.

Closet Raid: My Daily Outfits on Snapchat & InstaStories

In all of my years of blogging, the question I get asked most often is “Do you really get dressed up everyday?”

For the most part, what you see here is what I wear in real life, but not every outfit makes it to the blog. Over the past few months, I’ve been cataloguing my daily looks on Snapchat and InstaStories. Below is a roundup of my favorites over the last week or two. How to Wear Buffalo Plaid

{UNIQLO Buffalo Plaid Coat, ZARA Dress (under $20!), Vintage Beret (similar), PRADA ‘Baroque’ Sunglasses, CELINE ‘Luggage’ Tote, LFL Over-the-Knee Boots (on sale for 30% off) }

I’ve always found that two plaids are better than one. So get your buffalo plaid in a bright bold overcoat, and pair it with at least one additional contrasting plaid for good measure. Easy-peasy, right?! But seriously folks, a lot of people are afraid to mix patterns, but the key is not to overthink it. This combo works because because the colors are in the same palette (red, black and white). And the scale of the two patterns are different but not too much (a tiny plaid print dress probably wouldn’t work as well with this coat, for example).
