Target is Officially Bringing Life to My Closet this Spring!

This post is in paid collaboration with Target and Rewardstyle, but all items were hand-chosen by me. Thank you for supporting the brands that help keep this blog running.

After months of being stuck inside, it’s official – I’m done with winter! As the remnants of our last snow storm stubbornly melt away, I’m ready to shed my winter uniform in exchange for breezy dresses, strappy sandals, floral prints, and pastels. Luckily, Target has your girl covered on all fronts – and I’ve been eagerly updating my closet with some of my latest finds. If you’ve been inside of a Target recently, you’ve certainly noticed all of the cute spring pieces currently on display.

Case in point – this gorgeous lilac frock from A New Day. Just looking at this outfit has me dreaming of weekend brunch in the city at one of my favorite outdoor cafes. The dress speaks for itself, so I kept the accessories simple with a straw boater hat, rattan belt, and tortoise-print sandals.

Next up is this stunning tiered maxi dress with balloon sleeves from Universal Thread. This dress is the stuff that dreams are made of. I mean that literally, because it may or may not double as the perfect house dress when worn loosely without a belt. The material is so floaty and lightweight – and did I mention that it has pockets?! It comes in several different colors, and I’m tempted to snatch up another one soon.

And last, but certainly not least, I present to you this cute and ridiculously cozy tie-dye lounge set from Stars Above. I’m generally not a sweatshirt and joggers type of gal, but this outfit completely won me over. This look is perfect for those busy work-from-home days when you just need to hunker down and complete a project. Throw on a pair of smart sneakers, and you’re ready to take a break and grab a quick cup of coffee.

And there you have it – all of the wonderful spring items from Target that I’ve recently added to my wardrobe! Let me know which one is your favorite down in the comments. Target is easily one of my favorite places to shop for great outfits that won’t break the bank. I’ve already got my eye on a few more pieces linked below. Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day!

Say ‘YES’ to the Slip Dress!

How to Wear a Slip Dress

I’ve always been a creature of habit, and that especially extends to my wardrobe. Now don’t get me wrong, I love to switch things up and try new styles. But when I find something I like… let’s just say that I tend to run with it. Recently for me, it’s been the slip dress.

In this particular season of life – where I’m staying home more often than ever and taking a generally more relaxed approach in my daily activities – I’ve found that slip dresses hit that perfect sweet spot for me of combining comfort and elegance. Two of my favorite ways to wear a slip dress during the colder winter months are to layer over a sleek turtleneck or layer a long cozy duster cardigan on top. I was surprised at just how versatile clip dresses can be – so much so that I recently put together an entire YouTube video featuring 9 Ways to Style a Slip Dress.

I’m definitely planning to add at least one or two more of these wardrobe wonders to my closet soon, and below are a few that I’ve got my eye on as of late.

What I Wore Last Week

I’m still working from home these days, but I’m also trying my best to get into the holiday spirit Below is a brief recap of what I wore last week. I hope it inspires you to get up and dressed. Enjoy!

Casual Work From Home Outfits

{ZARA Sweatshirt, SPANX Leggings, MICHAEL KORS Booties, CULT GAIA Earrings}

I decided to kick off the week with a simple and cozy outfit. It doesn’t get much easier than a sweatshirt and leggings. The balloon sleeves and leopard print are what make this outfit more chic and less gym-rat… at least I hope, lol!

Casual Work From Home Outfits

{H&M Dress, Zara Booties, Lizzie Fortunato Earrings}

The temps were pretty mild on this particular day, so I was able to get away with showing a little leg. I bought this denim dress over the summer, and it still works for fall with a pair of suede booties.

Casual Work From Home Outfits

{H&M Fleece Shacket, UNIQLO Cashmere Turtleneck, TOMMY HILFIGER Ponte Pants, COACH Crossbody & Booties}

The shacket is probably my favorite trend of the season, and this thick fleece version is perfect as the weather gets nippier. I paired it with a matchy-matchy set of signature Coach booties and a crossbody bag.

Casual Work From Home Outfits

{H&M Sweater Vest and Oxford Tunic, SPANX Leggings, J. CREW Crossbody Bag, ZARA Booties}

There’s nothing I love more than classic preppy style, so I was pretty excited when sweater vests decided to make a comeback. I’ve been having fun styling this one in lots of different ways.

Casual Work From Home Outfits

{EXPRESS Duster Cardigan, H&M Dress, ZARA Beret & Lug Sole Boots, AMAZON Belt}

I haven’t shopped at Express in years, but they’ve recently been giving me a run for my money. I even did a whole Youtube video about my latest finds, including this soft cozy duster cardigan. I decided to channel my inner 90s ethos with a floaty slip dress and chunky lug sole ankle boots.
