Last week was a whirlwind, and I’m slowly easing my way back into a normal routine…
After weeks of purging my closet and packing up the things I hold near and dear… my husband and I moved to a new apartment in the city last Monday. Before I’d even had a chance to catch my breath after the movers left, I was showered and primped and off to catch behind-the-scenes action of the Vivienne Tam fashion show (more on that coming soon).
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday were each accompanied by major speaking gigs. And to top it all off, I had to complete my quarterly business taxes by the stroke of midnight on Thursday (ahhh… the joys of being a busy entrepreneur!)… and did I mention there was mounds of unpacking and furniture arranging to do in the midst of all this activity?!
In any case, I’m not complaining (because frankly, I’m way too tired for all of that), but a gal does need to take some time to relax and recharge.
