Closet Confection: Twelfth Night

November 23, 2010

When: Thursday, November 18th, 2010

Where: Work

What: Sweater (Rugby, similar here), skirt ($36 Gap w/ 40% off coupon), shoes (Vince Camuto via Loehmann’s), bracelet (Gap), watch (Croton via Loehmann’s)

So, I think I may have boxed myself into a corner with these clever (hopefully) numerical post titles and cute (at least I think so) poses with the numbers…

I’m kinda runnin’ outta of ideas.

It turns out there are lots of clever sayings and catchy song lyrics for numbers 1-10, but it starts getting tricky after that.  For instance, what’s really special about 14, 19 or 22?

I got nothin’.

Also, this particular photo shoot ended with me turning to my husband and saying, “Oh crap, what should I do with the number this time?”

I guess that’s what I get for setting the bar so high for myself.

Writer’s block aside, there are some definite perks to this challenge.  Namely that I get to wear some of my favorite pieces over and over again.

This skirt is quickly becoming one of those favorites. In addition to being absolutely gorgeous, it’s just so versatile. I have several additional outfits planned around it using other items in my roundup, and I’m having a hard time choosing between them. My plan was to wear each of my items at least twice during the challenge, but now that I’m almost halfway through, I’m definitely gravitating towards a few key pieces.

What about you guys?  Are you equal opportunity remixers, or do you find yourself just wanting to wear a few of your favorite pieces over and over again during this challenge?
